So Much More than Just Jam: Part I

It’s official summer is here and to celebrate we have new recipe ideas inspired by the warm weather.  To keep things short and to the point we’re dividing this entry into a few parts; drinks, salads, and BBQ sauces, glazes, & marinades.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been experimenting and playing with our new line of all natural (translation – no artificial colors, flavors, or high fructose corn syrup!!) syrups and sauces.  Luckily our friends have been willing taste testers for a few of these new recipes.  Below are a few drink recipes that have been big hits.

Serendipity Spritzer
Fill a tumbler with ice, add a tbsp or two of a Serendipity Syrup, and then fill glass with sparkling water.
Additions: Add a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon.

For happy hour just add an ounce or two of rum, tequila, or vodka to our standard spritzer.  For a Cranberry Lime Cocktail use our Cranberry Orange Syrup and add a squirt of lime juice.

Serendipity Bubbles

For a touch of color and a hint of pomegranate try adding 1-2 teaspoons of Serendipity Grenadine to a glass of your champagne, cava, prosecco, or a California sparkling wine.

We hope you’ll have a chance to try some of these fun summery drinks on warm afternoon or at your next get together.  How will you use them?  Also, we’d love to hear your ideas as well!  Feel free to share your favorite ways to use our new syrups!

Until next time,

Kristen & Lynette

Stay tuned for the next installments of summery salads as well as BBQ sauces, glazes, and marinades.
